... to be spooky.
I thought I'd share some poetry with you that I've written and that fits the mood of the season. Hope you enjoy!
Incubus
Stalagmites, stalactites reaching all around
The eerie darkness reeks of death
Saliva dripping down
Stalagmites, stalactites barring every way
The eerie river chases me
Thirsting, wanting prey
Stalagmites, stalactites closing very tight
The eerie monster grunt and growls
Inflicting jagged bite
Unbridle: A Siren's Seduction
Come away with me,
Behold the treasures of the sea.
Whate’er your heart’s desire
Come to me, we will conspire.
Wealth and power you shall find,
If you but promise to be mine.
Come away with me,
Behold the treasures of the sea.
As the waves obey my command,
Men will obey you,
Here now take my hand.
Come away with me,
Behold the pleasures of the sea.
Whate’er your heart’s desire,
Come to me, we will conspire.
Lust and love you shall find,
If you but promise to be mine.
Come away with me,
Behold the pleasures of the sea.
As the waves toss and tumble,
So shall we,
Intertwined beneath the sea.
Come away with me,
Behold the wonders of the sea.
Away with me,
Away with me.
Behold the bottom of the sea.
As I drown you, you shall see.
